Our Recap of Caggtus Leipzig 2026: Numerous Game Developers from Saxony in Attendance
Saxony’s games industry made a strong showing at CAGGTUS Leipzig 2026: several studios showcased their games at Indie Ground.
Caggtus Leipzig was a success in many ways: Over the course of the three-day event, 22,400 visitors mingled among more than 100 exhibitors across 40,000 square meters in the two exhibition halls. It was especially crowded on Saturday. This is not only a significant increase from last year (19,700 visitors), but also a new record—and a wonderful sign of the popularity Caggtus has gained and the significance that Saxony’s most important games trade fair now holds beyond the region. A sign that makes us extremely happy.
We, too, were present at Caggtus on the Indieground alongside Games & XR Mitteldeutschland and had many great conversations. A total of 23 studios and startups were represented on the Indieground this year with their games and demos. In addition to eight Saxon studios, which we’ve listed below, the others came from Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt, Bavaria, and Schleswig-Holstein.
It was particularly gratifying that Indieground was once again very well attended. There were many games in a relatively small space (although Indieground had been relocated and given more space due to the positive response in previous years), and visitors could easily try them out.
The following developers and teams from Saxony were there with their games:
- PandaBee Studios with “Beards Go Underground”
- Pasta Project mit „CUBO“
- Level Labs mit „Drillscape“
- Polynormal Games mit „Frame of Mind – A Game of Thoughts“
- Fusionplay mit „Nice Day for Fishing“
- Dreambound Studio mit „Project: Traum“
- Geomazing Games mit „Space Janitor“
- Whispergrove Interactive mit „Town of Cinders“
