Saxony at gamescom 2025 – our summary
Saxony at gamescom 2025: 24 exhibitors, stage programme and networking highlights – an overview of the Saxony joint stand.
The State of Saxony’s appearance at this year’s gamescom was accompanied by a total of 24 exhibitors. Compared to 2024, this is a total of 6 more exhibitors. For the first time this year, a package to promote start-ups was offered to the newly acquired exhibitors, so that they could have their own place and maintain a permanent presence.

In addition to the exhibitors, this year’s event featured a colourful programme accompanying Saxony’s overall presentation, with its own stage at the joint stand during the trade fair. The annual highlight was once again the ‘Bergfest’, which always starts at 5 p.m. on the Thursday of the fair at the stand and invites the entire games industry and visitors to the fair to the joint stand, where they can also enjoy regional delicacies that give them a ‘taste’ of Saxony.

Saxony’s participation in gamescom continues to grow year on year. With over 440 exhibitors from Germany, Saxony accounted for approximately 6.4 per cent of Germany’s participation this year. This is still a long way from the 30 per cent achieved by North Rhine-Westphalia, but there is still plenty of room for improvement and potential for growth. Compared to other federal states, however, Saxony has no reason to hide and ranks in the middle of the pack alongside Hamburg. (Source: gamescom exhibitor list, as of 4 August 2025)

2026 soll es erneut einen Gemeinschaftsstand von Sachsen geben. Wir freuen uns sehr auf das dritte Jahr in Folge und hoffen erneut, dass es ein Wachstum an Ausstellenden aus Sachsen gibt und wir alle zusammen Sachsen auf der gamescom 2026 erfolgreich vertreten können. Bis dahin sind es noch einige Monate und Tage.
