Submission deadlines for MDM funding in 2026

Applications for all funding areas (material development, project development, production, distribution and sales, screening and presentation, other measures), with the exception of the MEDIAstart start-up initiative, can now only be submitted online via MDM’s Central German Application Portal (MAP).

– 20 October 2025 (consultation until 6 October 2025), award meeting on 7 January 2026
– 2 February 2026 (consultation until 19 January 2026), award meeting on 21 April 2026
– 13 April 2026 (consultation until 27 March 2026), award meeting on 24 June 2026
– 17 August 2026 (consultation until 3 August 2026), award meeting on 4 November 2026
– 19 October 2026 (consultation until 2 October 2026), award meeting on 13 January 2027
